ABOUT
THE CREATOR...
John (Eric)
Sandoval was born and raised in Sterling, Illinois where he grew
up playing music since the age of four, and can play the piano, violin,
guitar, bass, mandolin, and percussion. After a stint in the Navy, he
went back home to go to school, where he majored in music. He formed a
local improv comedy troupe with a number of fellow students and together
they managed to talk a local venue owner into letting them make a nightly
show in the large dance hall on the top floor of his establishment. Eric
originally moved to Los Angeles with plans on becoming a musician in 1996,
but he realized that despite his love of music, his true talent was in
speaking and the written word, so he began to pursue screenwriting and
even had a feature script that he co-wrote, titled Fabulous, get optioned
in early 2008, but it never got made. This commonly experienced moment
that many writers experience at some point or another, awoke a deep awareness
and conviction within him that he carries with him to this day. "If
you want something done right, you have to do it yourself, and though
it may be the writer's story, and the director's vision, but it's the
producer's product." Today Eric Sandoval is married to artist and
designer Akane Aikawa, with whom he works currently doing editing work
such as actors reels, and sizzle reels for film, television, and internet
projects. He has worked with companies such as Paramount Interactive,
Facebook, and Hook Mobile. Currently Eric works as a casting consultant
and editing assitant with Proximity L.A., a post-production studio in
West Hollywood.
